Research Assistant, Serious Illness Care Program

Katrinka Quirk, MS, is a research assistant for the Serious Illness Care Program, working with the team documenting patient and family feedback addressing the effectiveness of the Serious Illness Conversation Guide at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Previous positions include managing a hospital-based Staff Development and Training Department, creating the position of Training Coordinator for the New York State Governor’s Office of Employee Relations labor/management Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and serving as Associate Faculty for the Continuing Medical Education Section of the Albany Medical College Department of Psychiatry. Katrinka graduated from UCLA with a degree in Sociology and has a Master of Science Degree in Health Science Education from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York.
