Grace Galvin

Grace Galvin, MPH, is the Assistant Director of Project Management on the Innovation Platform at Ariadne Labs. In this role, Grace facilitates the use of human-centered design methods to accelerate the ideas of our teams and faculty into solutions. Grace manages our Spark Grant Program, Ariadne Labs’ mechanism to fund early stage ideas, and supports teams across the organization in the design phase of the Ariadne Arc model.

Previously, Grace managed the Delivery Decisions Initiative at Ariadne Labs, a portfolio of projects aimed at improving safety, dignity, and experience in childbirth. Grace was responsible for projects investigating the design and management of labor and delivery units, patient engagement in quality analytics data, and the design and test of an intervention to support appropriate use of cesarean sections. Grace’s first assignment at Ariadne Labs was with the BetterBirth Program. In the past, Grace worked at the Harvard Injury Control Research Center and Harvard Youth Violence Prevention Center.

Grace earned her MPH in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Grace graduated from The George Washington University with a BA in International Affairs and with a concentration in international economics and development.
