Hannah Ratcliffe

Hannah Ratcliffe, MSc, is a Assistant Director of Research on the Primary Health Care team at Ariadne Labs. In this role, Hannah works across Ariadne’s portfolio of PHC projects, with a focus on developing and implementing novel ways of assessing primary health care system capacity and performance and working with global partners and policymakers in low- and middle-income countries to translate findings into prioritized improvement strategies as part of the Primary Health Care Performance Initiative. Hannah has also worked on projects to better measure PHC facility management and patient experience of care in Ghana, to improve care management for high risk patients in Estonia, and to document lessons learned from PHC success stories around the world. Hannah has also served as a technical facilitator on global learning collaboratives as part of the Joint Learning Network.

Before joining Ariadne Labs in 2015, Hannah’s work at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health focused on defining and measuring disrespect and abuse during facility-based childbirth and promoting respectful maternity care in East Africa. Hannah holds a Master of Science in Global Health and Population with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a BA in Biology from Williams College.
