Liz Wilson

Liz Wilson, MBA is the Associate Director, Research Finance and Administration on the Finance Team at Ariadne Labs. With over 18+ years of professional experience, she is responsible for the overall financial management, fiscal oversight and compliance for three research programs and unrestricted accounts. She works closely with the programs/platforms from proposal development to budget development to managing complex contract negotiations to invoice collection and account reconciliation in collaboration with Central Research Administration Offices at BWH and Harvard’s Office of Sponsored Programs. She also leads the post-award monitoring, budgeting forecasting, and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with hospital, university and sponsor policies. Liz also provides leadership and training to hospital/university faculty and staff, to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Prior to joining Ariadne Labs, Liz worked at Boston University School of Medicine in the Department of Medicine as the Director of Research Administration where she developed policies and procedures for training and management of sponsored research for the department. These trainings helped reduced the department’s grant deficit by $7M over the course of two years. Liz also worked for twelve years as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Framingham Heart Study at Boston University where she was responsible for 15 investigators and their portfolios that totaled approximately $100M in federal and industry contracts, grants and gifts.
Liz holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Business Administration and an MBA degree with a focus on non-profit management from Suffolk University.
