This study, led by David Levine, MD, MA and colleagues at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Partners HealthCare, and Harvard Medical School, found that home hospitalization in an urban setting reduced cost, health care use, and readmissions while increasing physical activity compared with usual hospital care.
