Amani Bright

Project Coordinator, Delivery Decisions Initiative

Amani Bright is a Project Coordinator on the Delivery Decisions Initiative (DDI) team, where she provides programmatic, research, and management support for the Nurse Impact and TeamBirth projects.

Prior to Ariadne Labs, Amani worked as the CrisisLine Capacity VISTA for an AmeriCorp host organization, Safe Harbor. In this role, Amani observed and revised processes pertaining to the agency’s crisis hotline, intake process, and training procedures. During this time, Amani also worked part-time as a crisis line worker for Mental Health America of Greenville County. In this secondary role, she provided crisis intervention and support on the National Suicide Hotline.

After completing her year of service with AmeriCorps, she worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at the Atlanta Center for Medical Research. Amani provided direct support to the completion of protocol-specific study goals for psychiatric, postpartum depression, and Covid-19 clinical trials. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Furman University, where she was a student-athlete on the Furman Women’s Soccer team, as well as a Mosaic Student Leader admissions ambassador.
