Primary Health Care Program at Ariadne Labs

Our Primary Health Care team is focused on strengthening primary health care globally so every person and community can obtain the care they deserve.

Costa Rica is a model for primary health care access. Since 2015, our Primary Health Care team has built a close partnership with the Costa Rican government health system to study how other countries can follow their successful example.

Our 2022 report examines how Costa Rica’s primary health care system is facing new challenges by taking us to the Huetar Atlántica region.
