“Implementing Genomic Screening in Primary Care” with Jason Vassy, MD., MPH, MA

Modeling studies suggest that screening the adult US population for 3 genetic diseases (hereditary breast and ovarian cancer, Lynch syndrome, and familial hypercholesterolemia) is cost-effective at the US health payer level. The PopScreen will bring genomic screening for these diseases into primary care, testing different approaches to improve participation and follow-up care, creating practical tools and guidelines for health systems.
