Nancy Anoruo, MD MPH is internal medicine faculty at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School with expertise in biodesign, innovation frameworks, and digital medicine. She completed her medical and public health education at George Washington University, and residency at UMass Chan Medical School. Following clinical training, she completed a joint fellowship through Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School in health technology innovation & biodesign, where she helped launch two companies addressing unmet clinical needs within the Mass General Brigham ecosystem through novel technology.

Following fellowship, she was appointed Director of Innovation at the newly minted UMass Program in Digital Medicine, where she helped build the program from grassroots beginnings, including creation of the UMass Fellowship in Digital Medicine. She holds patents for innovations in digital therapeutics and previously served as an advisor for Johnson & Johnson Innovation Labs. She also serves as a voice of medical and public health expertise to the nation as a journalist and medical contributor for ABC News.
