Caroline Grogan
Caroline Grogan, MSc, is the Associate Director of Ariadne Labs Project Management. She has managed multiple programs for Ariadne over the past several years, including Primary Health Care and Safe Surgery projects and BetterBirth and Serious Illness Care Program teams, bringing a management lens to a wide range of innovation, research and implementation work.
Before joining Ariadne Labs, Caroline spent five years working at Boston University, where she managed a portfolio of maternal and child health research and service delivery projects in Zambia. Principal among these was the Zambia Chlorhexidine Application Trial, a large-scale community based randomized controlled trial focused on neonatal survival. Prior to BU, Caroline worked as a consultant to several organizations on global health projects including HIV and reproductive health research projects in Ghana, Botswana, Kenya, and Uganda. She also has several years of experience in the development office at a global health management consulting organization. Caroline spent two years living in Mali as a volunteer and trainer with the Peace Corps, where she focused on community-based maternal and child health projects.
Caroline has a Master of Science in Global Health and Population from Harvard School of Public Health and an AB in History from Brown University.
