Jamie Hillas
Fellow, Safe Surgery/Safe Systems
Jamie Hillas is a general surgery resident and a Safe Surgery/Safe Systems Fellow at Ariadne Labs. Her work at Ariadne is focused on maximizing surgical safety using the OR Black Box and emphasis on non-technical skills, as well as utilizing implementation science to optimize Synoptic Operative Report implementation. Jamie attended Middlebury College where she studied Biology and became an NCAA All-American swimmer. Before starting medical school at Dartmouth, she was a research assistant with breast surgeons at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She began her surgical residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 2021.
