Janine Robredo
Janine Robredo, MD, MBA, MSc is a Research Specialist on the Primary Health Care team at Ariadne Labs, where she supports health system research and provides technical assistance to service delivery partners and practitioners across the PHC Program’s global and domestic portfolios.
Before joining Ariadne Labs, Janine spent several years advancing public health initiatives in the Philippines. She began her career as a physician, transitioning to public health as a special operations health strategist at the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this role, she led efforts to coordinate emergency health responses and strengthen healthcare delivery.
Janine holds an MD, MBA and a BS in Health Sciences, and recently earned her MS in Global Health Delivery from Harvard Medical School. During her master’s program, she further honed her expertise in health systems strengthening through internships at the Asian Development Bank, World Bank and the Clinton Health Access Initiative, contributing to scalable, solutions for improving population health.
Janine specializes on the social and structural determinants of health in low- and middle-income countries, with several published works in this area, and is looking to leverage research to develop grounded, data-driven strategies to advance global and public health delivery, outcomes and equity.
