Madeline Pesec
Madeline Pesec, MD, ScM is a Primary Health Care Fellow at Ariadne Labs and an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics resident. Her research interests include population health management, person-centered integrated healthcare, and health outcome equity. She is an expert in Costa Rica’s primary health care system, investigating the mortality impact of primary health care reform, health reform implementation, and measurement for improvement.
Clinically, she is a resident in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. She is also a resident in the Doris and Howard Hiatt Residency in Global Health Equity. Prior to residency, she obtained a BA in Public Health and Latin American Studies from Brown University, a Doctorate of Medicine, and a Masters of Science in Population Medicine from Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She is professionally fluent in Spanish.
