Dr. Nestor Nsengiyumva is a consultant neurologist with a special interest in movement disorders and Epilepsy, currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Hope Africa University in Bujumbura, Burundi. He also serves as a Better Evidence Champion. Dr. Nsengiyumva graduated from Rostov State Medical University in Russia. After his Neurology Residency at RUDN University in Moscow, he did a six month clinical training fellowship in Movement Disorder at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, Liverpool, UK , funded by the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, European Section. Nestor additionally did training in EEG with the Moroccan Society of Neurophysiology.
