Tariku Sime Gizaw

Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Jimma University School of Medicine, Ethiopia

Tariku Sime Gizaw works at Jimma University as academic staff. He graduated from the University of Wollega with a four year degree in Public Health and got his MSc in Medical Biochemistry from Addis Ababa University. He has been working at Jimma University as academic staff and a researcher in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. While at Jimma University, he has participated in different research studies and has four publications. The experiences he has gained from learning, research, and teaching have led him to be a good communicator, committed, excellent in teamwork, and enthusiastic. He has taken different trainings and workshops that have enhanced his personal and professional development so that he can deliver services in health care, research and development, management, and community mobilization effectively.
