Meghan (“Meg”) Long is a seasoned healthcare innovation leader with over a decade of experience driving transformative change. Her expertise spans design thinking, project management, and improvement science to successfully implement lasting solutions in areas such as maternal health, primary care, geriatrics, and surgery. Driven by a deep commitment to enhancing the human experience in healthcare, Meg believes impactful change stems from empathy, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of better outcomes.

As Director of the Innovation Platform and Community Engagement at Ariadne Labs, Meg leads a team of human-centered design specialists to source, generate, and develop impactful products that enhance healthcare delivery. She also leads the Ariadne Labs Research Community (ALRC), working to innovate and engage with 150+ global affiliate faculty. 

Meg has held significant roles at Ariadne Labs, including Project Manager in the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and Assistant Director of the Innovation Platform. Before joining Ariadne Labs, Meghan completed a competitive post-graduate program in hospital administration at Hartford Healthcare. In that capacity, she collaborated closely with the C-Suite to manage a portfolio of system-wide quality and safety initiatives

Meghan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought & Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of New Haven.
