Sarah Dannin
Sarah Dannin, MPH, is a Project Manager on the Primary Health Care Program at Ariadne Labs. Sarah supports a diverse portfolio of projects that seek to build more equitable primary health care systems, domestically and internationally. Sarah is responsible for ensuring work is delivered with excellence: on time, on budget, on scope, and with a high level of quality.
Prior to joining Ariadne Labs, Sarah spent five years working at Management Sciences for Health, as part of the business development team. In that role, Sarah led multi-national, multi-functional teams to develop proposals for a range of donors, including USAID, CDC, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. During this time, Sarah also built her skills in project design, particularly in the development and articulation of projects’ theories of change.
Sarah received her MPH with a concentration in community assessment, project design, implementation, and evaluation from the Boston University School of Public Health. She earned her BA from Occidental College where she studied Diplomacy and World Affairs.
The BetterBirth Team and their partners at KEMRI Wellcome Trust and the University of Oxford published the results from their mixed methods study at three county referral hospitals in Kenya to explore the impact of birth complications on mothers’ and families’ postpartum experiences and wellbeing.
