Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships

Kit Nichols is Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Ariadne Labs.  In this role, Kit serves on the Management team in order to identify and launch opportunities for collaboration and partnership inside and outside our institutions to further the development and spread of Ariadne’s ideas, tools, and solutions to achieve maximum impact.

Prior to joining Ariadne Labs, Kit was Executive Director of Lifebox Foundation USA, a nonprofit and sister organization to Ariadne Labs dedicated to improving the safety of surgery in LMICs. She started working in global health after a decade at Auerbach Associates, a boutique executive search firm founded to provide search services to colleges, universities, and related cultural institutions and nonprofits. As Vice President at Auerbach, she led both academic and administrative searches and worked closely with the firm’s President to develop Auerbach’s practice in Asia. Her career also includes several years in public policy research at the Pioneer Institute, a Massachusetts-based think tank, where she worked on the Institute’s education reform initiatives.

A graduate of Phillips Academy and Middlebury College, Kit also holds a Master’s degree in International Relations with a concentration on Development Economics and International Business from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
