Stacey Irwin Downey is the Strategic Transition Lead for the Serious Illness Care Program. In this role she works with the Program to develop their strategy and manage the team around execution of this strategy.
Stacey has spent over 20 years working in Global Health focused on management and leadership. Her areas of specialty include organizational development and facilitation, strategy and team alignment, leadership, and project management. Many of these years were spent working in various roles at Management Sciences for Health in countries across Latin America and other low and middle income countries. As an independent consultant, Stacey also worked with other global health organizations providing team strategy, facilitation and project management. Stacey spent one year living in Quito, Ecuador working as a volunteer with a community development organization.
Stacey has a Master’s in International Relations from Boston University and a BA from Fairfield University in Politics with concentrations in International Relations and Latin American Studies.
