Kasey Bellegarde
Kasey Bellegarde, MPH, RN is a Design Specialist with the Innovation Platform. In this role, she serves as an innovation and design content expert for the Lab, supporting projects to design effective improvement solutions that meet people’s needs and improve their lives. She is a firm believer in the power of good design and how it can shift systems towards better health for people and the planet.
Before joining Ariadne Labs, Kasey worked as a public health nurse home visitor with the Nurse-Family Partnership program and as adjunct nursing faculty with American International College. A registered nurse since 2013, she has served patients and families across the lifespan, primarily in public health and community settings. She has led and supported various health innovation projects including most recently adapting a health worker mentorship curriculum to improve the quality of nursing care at a community hospital in rural Sierra Leone.
Kasey holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from MCPHS University. She also holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is currently completing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Health Innovation and Leadership with the University of Minnesota, focused on innovative health systems transformation, human-centered design, and planetary health.
