Assistant Director Innovation Platform

Meghan Long is the Assistant Director of the Innovation Platform. In this role she leads a team of design, innovation, and project management specialists who help source, generate, and develop ideas that become valuable products to drive improvement in health care delivery. Meghan also leads Ariadne’s incubator Spark Grant Program for staff and faculty to rapidly design and test innovative solutions.

Meghan has been an integral part of the Ariadne team for several years, first as a Project Manager for the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and then as a Senior Platform Manager for the Innovation and Implementation Platforms. In both roles, she led several early innovation projects through background research, prototype development, user feedback, and implementation piloting.

Before joining Ariadne Labs, Meghan was a Department Coordinator of Medical Affairs and Quality at Hartford Healthcare. In this competitive postgraduate fellowship position, she led a portfolio of health system-wide quality and safety projects. 

Meghan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought & Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She also holds a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of New Haven.
