Sarah Payne
Sarah Payne is a Research & Project Coordinator on the Primary Health Care and Safe Surgery / Safe Systems teams at Ariadne Labs exploring innovative ways to enhance the delivery and performance of our health systems. Sarah supports a diverse set of portfolios across both teams ranging from global measurement of primary care to the implementation of tools to improve the quality of surgical systems and patient outcomes. She is experienced in project and stakeholder management, technical writing and strategic thinking, ensuring competing timelines are met with high-quality deliverables.
Sarah has previously spent time at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine exploring ways to better monitor and evaluate social innovation in health projects as well as at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and AcademyHealth working on mitigation strategies for COVID-19 . She has also spent time doing community-based HIV education work in Uganda. Sarah earned her B.A. in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Carolina Scholar, minoring in Medical Anthropology and Biology
