Jocie is a Senior Research Assistant on the Delivery Decisions Initiative team where she leads the Expecting More project, a national campaign to change the narrative about childbirth and highlight the role that every individual and institution has in supporting growing families in the United States. She also contributes to the Cities Challenge project. Previously, Jocie was on the Primary Health Care team where she led the development of the Improvement Strategies Model for the Primary Health Care Performance Initiative.
Before coming to Ariadne, Jocie worked as a consultant at Ibis Reproductive Health and a Data Analyst at Physicians for Reproductive Health where she studied the impact of conscientious objection to abortion on access to services across Europe. Jocie received her MPH from Columbia University, where she was a Rosenfield Scholar in Reproductive Health, and she has a BA from Williams College in art history and studio art. Jocie is also a trained doula.
