Joseph (Joey) Ross
Joseph (Joey) Ross, MPA, serves as the Assistant Director of Primary Health Care (PHC) at Ariadne Labs where he helps lead the team’s work in designing, testing, and spreading innovations in PHC measurement, frontline service delivery, and population health management in the United States and internationally. His expertise lies in creating and managing multidisciplinary teams and diverse partnerships that develop and translate PHC evidence and tools into policy and practice. He oversaw Ariadne’s engagement and technical contributions as a core partner of the Primary Health Care Performance Initiative, and is currently supporting global PHC strengthening through the MOMENTUM Knowledge Accelerator and PROPEL Health.
Prior to joining Ariadne Labs, Joey worked at John Snow, Inc., the Global Development Incubator, and ICAP at Columbia University on public health research, strategy, and implementation projects. He has worked in partnership with health systems leaders, practitioners, researchers, and advocates across South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America. Joey completed his undergraduate studies at Bucknell University and his MPA in Development Practice from Columbia University where he was a Global Health Fellow.
