Joseph (Joey) Ross

Associate Director, Primary Health Care

Joseph (Joey) Ross, MPA, is an Associate Director at Ariadne Labs where he leads the Primary Health Care team’s work in designing and testing innovations in PHC measurement, integrated service delivery, and population health management in the United States and globally. His expertise lies in creating and managing multidisciplinary teams and diverse partnerships that develop and translate PHC evidence and tools into policy and practice. He oversaw Ariadne’s engagement and technical contributions as a core partner of the Primary Health Care Performance Initiative, and is currently supporting global PHC strengthening through the MOMENTUM Knowledge Accelerator and PROPEL Health. 

Prior to joining Ariadne Labs, Joey worked at John Snow, Inc., the Global Development Incubator, and ICAP at Columbia University on public health research, strategy, and implementation projects. For over 15 years he has worked in partnership with health systems leaders, practitioners, researchers, and advocates across South and Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America. Joey completed his undergraduate studies at Bucknell University and his MPA in Development Practice from Columbia University where he was a Global Health Fellow.
