PACT Leadership and Innovation Network

The PACT Leadership and Innovation Network is for healthcare organizations that are committed to sustaining their own harm response programs while leading the charge in transforming the way healthcare responds to harm.

Why Join the PACT Leadership and Innovation Network

A comprehensive, highly reliable harm response program touches almost all aspects of a healthcare organization from clinical departments to patient experience, from quality to legal, from patient safety to risk. Sustaining broad and robust engagement can be challenging without a group of equally committed peers to help you stay on track.

PACT creates an environment of full transparency and accountability between participants who share cases, review each other’s processes, and engage in difficult case discussions. PACT faculty bring expertise in the full range of harm response processes including event review, human factors engineering, and engaging patients and families in solutions. Network members are experts in their own right, sharing ideas and strategies with each other to ensure everyone’s success.

Network Members will:

  • Work with national patient safety experts and leaders in the field to advance their organization’s response to harm and drive the national movement.
  • Access evolving PACT Collaborative materials and receive invitations to learning sessions to revisit Collaborative content.
  • Participate in the PACT PSO which will securely collect data for learning and benchmarking and provide protections for case discussion to enhance shared learning.
  • Submit cases and receive feedback on strengths and opportunities from peers and faculty with expertise in communication, event review, human factors engineering, and engaging patients and families in solutions.
  • Be eligible to collaborate on high-impact publications, present on harm response processes at national meetings, or mentor organizations in their journey.
  • Be well positioned to apply for national recognition for your harm response program when criteria are finalized.

Because the PACT Leadership and Innovation Network is focused on sustaining and improving fully implemented harm response programs, membership is by invitation only. If you believe that your organization is ready to take this step in committing to and advocating for accountability, compassion, and transparency, you can request an invitation. Please send an email to Melissa Parkerton, PACT Director, to schedule a conversation about whether the PACT Leadership and Innovation Network is a good fit for your organization.
